The rice balls 🍙 were absolutely incredible! I ordered my favorite flavor “bonito“ otherwise known as “okaka (おかか).“ Plus the hostess was very sweet and the atmosphere was romantic as they had light lanterns. I hope to go on a first date here soon ! Thanks for being open

The Best and Most Authentic Japanese food in El Paso.To start off the atmosphere is very nice and feels comfortable. The waitress was great. She gave us a bowel and spoon for our one year old without us asking. And a high chair.I lived in Okinawa, Japan for 2 years and their Katsu (Pork) Curry taste just like it should. Amazing! For the Spicy Miso Ramen. It taste very very great as well. If you never had Japanese ramen, you have never had ramen that is better than this.On the down side they were out of Japanese beer and were not serving sushi at the time. BUT that's OK!If you live in El Paso you have to try this place, you won't be disappointed!
The service is amazing, they are kind and courteous.Such a small restaurant, but very cozy. Food is amazing I love the spicy chashumen ramen and my husband loves the regular ramen. It is spicy okay...🥰👌👌We haven't tried all the menu because we are stuck with the favoritesBe sure to get here early because they fill up quickly!!
Best Japanese food I have tasted. The staff treats you like family. We have been there alone and we have been there when it is packed. The food is always fabulous. Have not tried something here I don't enjoy to the last bite. They no longer serve sushi but their Ramen is excellent. Only down fall is their hours vary a lot and only accept cash. Well worth it when it is open!!!update: finally remembered to take a picture. love it here! I requested extra egg in the ramen!
Food was great but it did take close to an hour for us to get our food
I am Japanese who moved from Japan to El Paso last year.I've been on search for a decent Japanese food in El Paso but never was able to find one until I visited Matsuharu.I felt like home and the food was great! My son who was raised with my Japanese cooking ate every dishes we ordered. This will be my go to place when I crave Japanese food.I will definitely bring my family here when they are visiting from Japan!
Food: 1000/10. I ordered the shio ramen (spicy) and it was delicious!!! The best ramen i’ve had in a while. the broth was so flavorful and had the right spices in there. The staff was so sweet and accommodating! They were amazing to us the whole time I was eating.
